Position Summary
Social Venture Partners Seattle (SVP Seattle) seeks an Administrative Associate to keep the organization’s day-to-day operations and events running smoothly as part of its small but mighty staff team.
In this exempt role, the Administrative Associate serves as the operational hub for a small team and the Board of Directors—managing schedules, logistics, record-keeping, communications platforms, and other administrative tasks. The position reports to the Deputy Director.
What does an average day look like?
Every day is a little different. One day you might be at our office in The Cloud Room scheduling a meeting for a grants committee of eight busy volunteers, sourcing a venue and catering for an in-person gathering, updating our Salesforce database, and drafting a weekly newsletter. Another day you might be working from home to process expense reimbursements and compile materials to share with a potential donor who rescheduled their meeting for that afternoon. While there are consistent tasks that help you develop a rhythm, on a small team with ambitious goals you’ll sometimes need to pivot and refocus on something new and unexpected.
