A coalition of Washington unions representing public-sector workers is seeking an experienced union organizer to coordinate regional and statewide intra-union organizing activities from December, 2016 through June 30, 2017. Our goal is to build stronger local connections within the public-sector labor community and to work toward common goals that strengthen the labor movement in Washington. Cascade Bicycle Club seeks a full-time Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead HR in a high-volume and fast-paced work environment for approximately 36 full-time employees and ~25 part-time/seasonal staff. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the operational and strategic management of all activities related to human resources. The HR Manager will have the opportunity to update and standardize a consistent and constructive approach to performance planning/improvement and to create a leadership development process across the organization. Responsibilities are carried out on behalf of Cascade, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and its affiliated 501(c)(4), Washington Bikes.

The ideal candidate will be an approachable, process-driven, experienced human resources professional with a demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. The Democracy Hub is being launched to coordinate and lead a long-term agenda for democracy reform work in Washington State. The Accounting Manager has responsibilities ranging from leading parts of the annual audit to daily reconciliations. This person supervises the Accounting & HR Clerk. Success on the job means the financial side of Cascade’s events, grants and staff time allocations are seamless and result in a clean and easy audit process, and that the administrative side of HR is smooth. This role needs someone who can see the larger financial picture of the organization while also being able to track transactions on a daily basis. The Accounting Manager is a full-time position that reports to the Senior Director of Finance & Operations, and the salary range is $47,000 to $55,000.
